As part of Earth Month festivities, your KSC Garden Club hosted Caitlin Bagnall of the Marine Resources Council to talk about how your gardening can help the health of the Indian River Lagoon! We learned about creating a rain barrel, the proper types of fertilizer to use, and how to grow mangroves!

For more Earth Month fun, we hosted our spring plant swap event! We gathered at KARS Park 1 to swap plants and seeds, and handed out some free grow kits and edible plants to start your home gardens.

We gathered for our second plant swap of the year at KARS Park 1! Our swap winner was Nathan Trepal who gave credit to the REAL winner, his son Giovanni!
